Jamie Jenson is a 2018 graduate of the master’s program in magazine, newspaper and online journalism at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. A veteran teacher, Jamie taught middle and high school English for 10 years before pursuing a career in journalism. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature from Rosemont College and a Master of Science in education from Binghamton University. While at Newhouse, Jamie was awarded the Charnice Milton Award for Community Journalism and the Graduate School Master’s Prize. She was also chosen to participate in a journalism project in Grahamstown, South Africa.
